Dear Electronic Music fans — Thank you for visiting my website!

I’m Matthew Miller and I compose & record as ElectroKosmikDude. My electronic music compositions are usually based on my interests in astronomy, sci-fi, nature, and urban settings. I also sometimes explore and produce other genres of music such as Classical, Jazz/Funk, and New Wave.

I chose the name ElectroKosmikDude because it pretty much describes what I enjoy - Electronic music with cosmic themes.

My interest in the electronic music world was sparked at a young age, growing up listening to ambient artists like Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, Mark Isham, Øneheart, Reidenshi, and Boards Of Canada to name a few, and I am a huge fan of Berlin School electronic music. I frequently listen to music by Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Michael Garrison, Edgar Froese, Chris Franke, Michael Hoenig, Johannes Schmoelling, and Klaus Schulze, Harald Grosskopf, D*Time, and Vykaar Tones, Vanderson, Udo Hanten, Bernd Kirstenmacher, Richard Pinhas, Wolfgang Riechmann among others. I like to think that the majority of my tracks are influenced by these electronic music composers.

My goal as an artist is to make music that can be enjoyed by listeners while working, relaxing, stargazing, reading/study, and meditation/contemplation.

My website is still in its infancy and so, presently, it is very much a work-in-progress. In the future, I hope to add links related to electronic music and astronomy. I am also open to the idea of composing and recording custom soundtracks for film, video, and audio productions. If interested, you can contact me and I will be happy to do so!
